About Freedom Tree

Just Thinking…

Freedom came through a tree! A tree is another name for The Cross. Jesus died for our sins on the cross. He died so that we could be free. When we live free we become conduits of life for those around us bringing them fruit and shade…like a tree. “If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” Our vision is simple, Be the Tree! Live like Jesus, love like Jesus. Be fruitful. Isaiah 61:1-4

OUR STYLE

ALL QUESTIONS WELCOME HERE! We are explorers in constant search of truth and deeper understanding of al things. Do you have questions? All questions and backgrounds welcome. We are multicultural, multigenerational, and more. But we aren’t perfect!

OUR PASSION

We are passionate about living for Jesus in every aspect of our lives. We are serious about cultivating our faith through the Truth of the Holy Bible. We strive to LIVE in all possible fruitfulness for the Kingdom of God!

What We Believe

God is Yahweh, One God in three persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Jesus is God the Son, He is the Way the Truth and the Life. God is love. Love is both kindness and justice.

Leadership Team

The vision of Freedom Tree began in 2009 as a Young Adult ministry of Trinity Chapel Austin and Youth Uprising Ministries. Freedom Tree Church was reborn on July 4, 2024. It is now like a church plant with deep roots! We are led by a team of Christians who are excited to join God on mission in Austin, TX and in Cyberspace.
