Freedom Funnies – Growing Laughs to Make Hearts Merry
Why did Jesus heal a leopard, Dad?
Jesus Heals a Leper
“Now a leper came to Him, imploring Him, kneeling down to Him and saying to Him, ‘If You are willing, You can make me clean.’ Then Jesus, moved with compassion, stretched out
His hand and touched him, and said to him, ‘I am willing; be cleansed.’
As soon as He had spoken, immediately the leprosy left him, and he was cleansed.”
Mark 1:40-45 (NKJV)
Book of the Month – Celebration of Discipline
Variety is a spiritual spice too!
Last month we spent a couple of weeks studying Christian spiritual practices. Spiritual practices help us live healthier, more fulfilling lives. Bible reading and prayer are two vital, everyday practices. There are dozens of practices to choose from and a variety of ways to implement each. Variety is the spice of life, even spiritually speaking!
This month’s book recommendation will give you a solid foundation for understanding spiritual practices. As you read Celebration of Discipline, by Richard J. Foster, consider how you can enrich some of the practices you are already engaging in. Maybe, you might get an idea of how you can spice up your entire ROL with fresh practices.
