Who is Freedom Tree? Freedom Tree is a church in central Austin, Texas (52nd St.) on a mission to help people get free and live free by and through The Tree (The Tree leads to Jesus). We have a heart for the hurting and a place to serve for you who are ready to pass along some of your own healing!

Austin Radio That Get’s You Closer To God
What do you listen to while driving around in Austin traffic? Does it build you up? For our family, commute time is worship time! There’s no better way to start or end your day than with music that glorifies God. Worship music penetrates and unites multiple aspects of what it means to be human. “Faith comes by hearing” because hearing can alter the very matter of which you are made. Music matters!
At least two Christian radio stations in the Austin area fit the bill. Both play contemporary Christian music. Air1 plays Sunday-morning-church-worship-style music. K-Love plays some of the same, but also Christian Pop. Explore each station below and then set your dial and sandwich your days with music that matters.

This month, we are highlighting a newsletter instead of a book! The Pour Over is a newsletter that concisely summarizes the top US news stories…but with a nonpolitical, Christian lens. If you’re like some of us at Freedom Tree, you don’t care for the modern news reporting scene and often make the mistake of not knowing what is happening in the world. The Pour Over can help! They report just the facts, in bite-sized morsels (espresso shots), with the only commentary being a Bible passage that helps shed light on the issue. Check it out: The Pour Over

Freedom Tree Church has a heart for the hurting, especially those struggling with mental and emotional wellness (which honestly, is often each of us at some point).
